Effective June 20, 2019, the City of San Juan Bautista Municipal Code was amended by
Ordinance 2019-02, banning smoking in City restaurants including outdoor dining areas. The City Council heard presentations from the San Benito County Public Health Division advocating for smoke-free outdoor dining along with comments from the public. Signage reflecting the revision to the Municipal Code is being provided by the San Benito County Public Health Division to restaurant owners. Contact the
